A New Chapter

Entrusted by the City of Lampasas

On January 28, 2026, the City of Lampasas put in writing its intent to grant ownership of the Lampasas Colored School and New Hope Baptist Church to LCS. The city’s letter is addressed to Lampasas Colored School, LLC. On June 22, 2026, the City Council voted unanimously to approve the transfer. We plan to begin educational and economic development programs on the properties in late 2026.
